my family asked Melinda to co-write a book that would be the most important book in our lives, the story of our father. It’s hard to put into words what she was able to do with this book. She seemed to channel my late father and write for him in his own style of writing. I still don’t know how she was able to do this. This book has been such a hit among Louisiana football fans that it is our belief that this book will one day be a movie. We will forever be grateful that she helped us make that dream a reality.
